Cousin Becky

My Dear cousin Becky made her first trip to the big city of Seattle a week long visit from her little town of Chicago.  Actually, she considers herself a Minnesotan as that is where she has lived for the last several years.  But originally from Chicago... almost, Downers Grove really.  But who knows where Downers Grove is?
Felix and the family took her to Issaquah's Tiger Mountain to satiate Becky's desire to hike in the mountains.  I don't know if it did, but Felix sure enjoyed it.  He endured a several mile hike over rugged terrain, and until the end when I carried him, he was enthusiastic and very interested in the sights.  As we got set to hit the trail, Felix found a suitable walking stick and used it for much of the hike.
Some days, when school wasn't in, Felix was available to be Becky's tour guide as he confidently explained things he thought he knew.
You'll notice the shirt Felix is wearing in the two pictures featured in this post.  The second picture is from a school production a couple of weeks prior- the purpose for having the shirt.  Felix really likes that shirt and has worn it several times between the assembly and the hike.
